Balsamic Vinegar Roasted Plums with Olive Oil
Ingredients

6 to 8 firm plums, cut in half and pitted

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar Tesoro Piccolo

1 tablespoon maple syrup

A good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

A pinch of fleur de sel and wild pepper
Preparation

1. Serves 4 to 6

2. Preheat oven to 400F (200C) and use the middle rack for cooking.

3. Place the plums with the cut side upwards in a small baking dish.

4. Mix the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and olive oil in a small bowl and pour over each plum.

5. Sprinkle thyme leaves on plums.

6. Rôtir pendant environ 15 minutes, jusqu’à ce que les prunes soient tendres et que la garniture soit caramélisée.

7. Plums are excellent with ice cream, yogurt or on a olive oil vanilla cake. Lightly salt and pepper plum before serving.

8. Plums can be prepared in advance and can be refrigerated. Serve at room temperature.
