Balsamic candied tomato crostini & green olive tapenade

Preparation

  1. 1. Crostini (preparation) Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut the baguette at an angle to make several thin slices. Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and add a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt and pepper. Bake for 8-10 minutes. To book

  2. 2. Candied tomatoes and garlic (preparation) Preheat the oven to 300°F Place the tomato bunches and garlic in a baking dish. Drizzle the tomatoes and garlic with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Add the salt and sugar as well as the thyme sprig. Bake for 45 minutes or until the tomatoes begin to split. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and the peel from the garlic cloves.

  3. 3. On each crouton, generously place pieces of burrata. Add alternately the tomatoes and candied garlic as well as the olive tapenade. Garnish with a few basil leaves. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy!
