Garlic Scape & Basil Pesto

Ingredients

2 cups fresh basil

2 cups Chopped garlic scapes

1 clove garlic

1/2 cup Toasted pine nuts

1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan

1/2 lemon Lemon juice

2/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil

1/2 tsp (1/2 teaspoon) Salted herbs

To taste Pepper
Preparation

1. Pesto (Preparation) In a food processor, combine the basil, garlic scapes, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan, and lemon juice.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture reaches a smooth, even texture. Add the salted herbs and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use. Enjoy!
