Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 6 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced (about 4 cups)

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) rolled quick oats

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) maple syrup

  • 3 ml (1/2 tsp) cinnamon (optional)

  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil Olive & Olives 8

Preparation

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

  2. 2. Place the apples in an 8" x 8" lightly greased pan 8 "x 8".

  3. 3. In a bowl, mix together the oats, flour, maple syrup and cinnamon.

  4. 4. Add the extra virgin olive oil.

  5. 5. Spread this mixture over the apples.

  6. 6. Bake for 45 minutes.
