6 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced (about 4 cups)
½ cup rolled quick oats
¼ cup whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour
¼ cup maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Olive & Olives 8
Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
Place the apples in an 8" x 8" lightly greased pan 8 "x 8".
In a bowl, mix together the oats, flour, maple syrup and cinnamon.
Add the extra virgin olive oil.
Spread this mixture over the apples.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 °F for 45 minutes.
